Short: ARexx macro to build index for ProWrite Author: Clark Williams Uploader: predator netcom com Type: text Architecture: generic Two files (MakePhraseFile and MakeIndex) which can be installed as macros under ProWrite and which may be used to generate an Index for your documents. Tested on A2500, A3000, A4000 thru WB 3.1. Legal: USE OF THIS PRODUCT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK! Software Industry & General Hardware IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT GOES WRONG WHILE USING THIS SOFTWARE! To Use: First install MakePhraseFile as a macro (see the owners manual for ProWrite). Second install MakeIndex as a macro. I have installed MakePhraseFile as macro 1 and MakeIndex as macro 10. Now go thru your document and highlight the words you wish to have included in the index you are generating. Once you highlight a single word (or a phrase) press the Shift F1 key to include the word (or phrase) into the phrase file. Once you have completed the generation of the phrase file, and with the document you want to index still open and active, press the shift F10 key. You will be presented with an index of your phrase file (it sometimes will take a while [because seemingly ARexx I/O is awfully slow]). Thats it!
