Short: CF-Logo done with Explore(SGI)&XiPaint3.2 Author: Ju.Schmitz@trier.fh-rpl.de (Juergen Schmitz) Uploader: Ju Schmitz trier fh-rpl de (Juergen Schmitz) Type: pix/trace Architecture: generic This is a nice raytraced picture, done with the great Explore-Program on an Indigo2-Extreme. Had to do some corrections with XiPaint3.2 like smoothing and of course adding my name at the lower right end of the picture. The Campfire12-logo has been taken out of a big series of different kinds of traces. They were done in order to get some kind of fit in using the very large explore-environment. The main reason for uploading the SGI-trace was to show that you don't need monster-programs like Photoshop on an SGI-machine in order to perform simple corrections on your pictures. XiPaint on a fast Amiga is a good and cheap alternative in most cases! Some Technical data for those who are interested ... - picture size 800 * 600 - Color depth 24 bit - rendering time < 1 minute (Indigo2Extreme, 200Mhz) - Amiga-Software used XiPaint3.2, Cybergraphx-direct-driver - Amiga-Hardware used A2000, A2630/4, Picasso2, MC702/2 ______________________________________________________ | | | Juergen Schmitz | | Student of applied computerscience/design | | at the Fachhochschule Rheinland-Pfalz/Trier | | E-Mail: schmitju@trier.fh-rpl.de | | Phone : +49-6588-2168 | | Fax : +49-6588-2168 | | | |____________________________________________________|
