Short: Opus5.5/ToolManager small 2-frame icons Author: Trevor Morris & Leo Davidson Uploader: Leo Davidson Type: pix/mwb Architecture: generic AMINET ADMIN: Please do ***NOT*** remove MWB_DOpus7.lha as this is new ------------- material and not a update of the old archive. If you are looking for single-frame (not animated), borderless images, get MWB_DOpus7.lha from Aminet:pix/mwb. The images are perfect for things such as start menus, certain ToolManager (and other programs, especially Opus5.11) docks, etc. Directory Opus 5.5 Users Note: ------------------------------ This archive (MWB_DOpus8c.lha) is *exactly* the same as the one you should already have on your Opus5.5 Extras disk. Do not waste your time downloading this as there is nothing new for you. We are just releasing this to Aminet as it will also be useful to people who do not own Opus 5.5 (although such people really are lesser humans and don't deserve one icon, let alone a set -- I must be in a good mood or something). MWB_DOpus 8: ------------ A new feature of Directory Opus 5.5 is that it can use 2-frame icons and animbrushes in toolbars & button-banks so that the icons animate when you click on them. Another new feature is the ability to turn off the automatic borders around icons (which were ugly in most cases). Version 8 of MWB_DOpus is designed for these new features and all the icons have their own border imagery and a secondary image. For Opus 5.5 users, this new collection is a must-have (and you probably won't have much use for the old MWB_DOpus 7, unless you use it for other programs as well). Other people may also find these icons very useful. For example, you can create nice looking, compact ToolManager docks, etc. A template of the icons is included (so you can easily see which filename matches which picture) All icons are included in icon (.info) and animbrush formats. Also included are some nice fonts, disk icons, window textures, and anything else we thought would be useful. There is also an AmigaGuide which attempts to help with some common problems people have had when trying to use the icons with DOpus5. An installer script is provided, but is of no use to those without DOpus5.5. Those with DOpus5.5 will already have this archive and it is installed by the main installation script, but future versions will have an "update" mode. Finally... Please note Trevor's new address above, the one in the archive is out-of-date. A small update of MWB_DOpus8 may appear some time in the future as we do have a few more icons to add, but it hardly seems worth the effort at the moment. As always, if you have any requests for new icons or if you wish to use the icons in one of your projects, drop us a line and we'll do our best to help. Also, my web-page is being updated at the moment so be sure to check it in a few days. I plan to put the template online for people to view.
