Short: V2.10 - 16bit sample editor/generator Author: jvatjus@ee.oulu.fi (Jarkko Vatjus-Anttila) Uploader: jvatjus ee oulu fi (Jarkko Vatjus-Anttila) Type: mus/edit Version: 2.10 Replaces: SinED.lha Architecture: m68k-amigaos Welcome to SinED II v2.10, the most powerful sample editor/generator so far. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- (c) 1996-98 Jarkko Vatjus-Anttila This program is without a doubt the most powerful shareware sample editor/generator so far. The reason this is written, is because I needed a decent sample edtior, but the ones available were more or less pathetic. It doesn't have to be that the only good sample editors are available only for those who have a DSP installed in their machines. SinED will fix this problem! Hype?? Perhaps, but still take a look. :) This is shareware and registration fee is $20 USD or equivalent amount in your own currency. This version is fully functional except that saving is not allowed. Requirements: ------------- - Any amiga with KS2.04+. Any screenmode due to the smart GUI system. - Depending on your purposes a lot of memory. 16bit samples can take a lot of space. The program itself, however, can be launched with only 300 kb of free RAM. - SinED works with virtual memory managers such as VMM. - m68020+ CPU and FPU is recommended but not required. Just take a look at the list about the features that SinED provides to you. You will not believe your eyes. Advantages: ----------- - Easy sample-editting with AHI v4. - Handles IFF-8SVX, IFF-16SV, AIFF, WAV and RAW in mono/stereo. - All channels are treated independently. - Has a number of different effects built in, which can be combined togeterer. - Effects support envelopes. - Multilevel undo. - Hand editting. - Small mixer. - Does NOT crash your system. Main changes from V2.02: ------------------------ MAJOR: · Recompiled with brand new StormC V3. · Yep, fixed a bug that caused a crash. When you played with Zoom in and Cut options, sometimes random memory was drawn on display causing a crash, now fixed. · A major bug fixed in a routine that allocated temporary memory areas for SinED. In certain cases the Exec memory lists could be trashed and the SinED action would slowdown dramaticly. · Added string gadgets to here and there to assist work. · Added a new edit option: "Cut Away" which can be used to cut parts from a sample without overwriting the copybuffer. · Playback of the stereo samples had some trouble. I hope this is now fixed. · The saving routine for AIFF didn't seem to work. The playback frequency was saved incorrectly. MINOR: · Added a new Paula driver (v4.20) for AHI. · Removed a bunch of CyberGuard hits from here and there. · Added some missing break; statements to prevent code from running into something it should not. (bad one :) · Removed a bug that caused a screenmode requester to open randomly on screen. · Corrected some GFX problems with GUI. · Sometimes sample frequency could be fetched incorrectly when importing a sample. Now fixed. · SinED needs now intuition.library v37+ instead of v36. · Corrected a bug in routine that used ReadArgs(). If you have had false parameters, they should no longer occur. · Corrected a bug in prefs file loading. Old prefs are no longer valid. · Removed some stupid commands from AmigaGuide docs. (like @width 80, and so on...) · Yet again removed obsolete and unused code. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Download this now! It's worth it.
