The main goal of mod albums is to release a set of songs with common stylistic and emotional elements in a coherent package that goes beyond the single mod. These albums will be primarily released in OctaMED format, since this easily supports multiple songs within one file (although I will hopefully get around to pro-tracker conversion of these releases ;) The reason for doing this is to get trackers aware of the musical complexities and possibilities involved in the production of a set of music which comprises a coherent 'album' (not to mettion that I felt like doing this ;) Hopefully this first mod-album will serve as an example of what the OctaMED MMD1 mod format is capable of, (and of the potential for the overlooked OctaMED synthsounds). Samples were obtained from: Synthsounds created by me. Drum Synthounds converted from samples to octamed synthosunds using the SYNtool utility (written by me ;) Samples various other mods (I really have no idea where I got most of my sample collection from... ...if you're one of the 'source of the samples is more important than the actual music' types, then perhaps you're missing the point of the music... S3M.beat From the Second Reality soundtrack (ugh...oh no... everyone rips those samples...how un-original) ...whatever...
